From: Packaging News

Stork have launched a new range of ready to bake cupcake mixes to help consumers who may lack the time or confidence to bake.

Stork has launched the Ready to Bake mix which simply needs pouring into cupcake cases and baking in the oven.

Stork’s cupcake ready mix is aimed at bakers of all skill sets with a simple proposition that will enable them to skip the “making” and get to the “baking” while still enjoying the delicious smell of cake in the oven.

In order to communicate the key benefits of their new product, Stork sought the help of London based studio, Slice Design, to bring their pack design to life. Slice were tasked with pack design for an NPD addition to the Stork range. The brief was to clearly communicate the ease, convenience and usage of the mixes.

Alan Gilbody, founder and director, Slice Design, said: “Stork is a trusted home baking brand with over 90 years of heritage, we wanted to retain this on pack and highlight the
fun and ease of use”

Stork’s assistant brand manager, Madeleine Boulton said:“Slice were brilliant to work with throughout the whole process. They delivered an excellent customer service, working quickly and efficiently to deliver high quality designs that were extremely accurate in their representation of the product.”
